With so many things happening around us and so many things requiring our attention, it becomes inevitable to forget small and simple things. This like how many accounts do we have, what is each account for, what’s the password for them are some of the things we usually lose track of, specially if you are neurodivergent. Adhd organization for all things online has to be one of the most crucial steps to prevent ourselves from losing track of things. Specially when you are juggling with ADHD, it becomes even difficult as it becomes impossible to finish tasks on deadline without over complicating things and workout stressing yourself out.

ADHD ORGANIZATION- Using reliable Password Manager

Let’s start with the most basic and simple step that you need to do in order to literally aves anything. If you are like me, you are going to have multiple Id’s that have different passwords. When you have multiple I’d and passwords, is inevitable to remember all of them since many a times we also accept the recommended passwords (we all know what the recommended passwords look like). Therefore, I recommend saving your passwords along with their id’s on a reliable password manager. For this same purpose, I use 1Password as it is highly reliable and works wonderfully when it comes to saving and accessing passwords.
Now I am generally very we excited about getting a new course but the general requirement to access a course is through having an account and a unique password to that. With my own Adhd mind, I generally forget about me having bought a new course, and I wouldn’t even remember the ID that I had used to login into that course. That’s absolutely when 1Password comes to my rescue. Having tried a lot many apps for this purpose, I have had a horrible experience with a few such as LastPass, I would definitely only recommend 1password app if you are looking for one.
The one thing that I like the most about this all is that I can use it seamlessly on any platform, including my phone or desktop. So now if I get myself a course, I can access it on my mobile and my laptop as well since the 1password app is going to save the ID and password used by me to login to the course, all extremely safe. If also offers affordable plan, I opted for an annual plan and I will recommend you to do so too.
First you can opt for the 14 days trial that it offers and then if you feel convinced enough, you can go for the annual plan since it’s cheaper. You can pin the 1Password app to your browser so you don’t forget to save it the password and then use it effectively for ADHD organization.
Dedicated Bookmarks Folders for Better Learning

Another useful resource that I have figured out to help me access my courses effectively is by making dedicated bookmark folders. Now we already know that of we want to access any particular site on the browser multiple times, is better to bookmark them so that is easily accessible and that also takes you to the exact page or slide you want to be a when you bookmarked it. But now if you have a lot of bookmarks say for courses indivisible, is better to make dedicated bookmark folders for all things “courses”, so that all your courses are at one place, bookmarked, and easy to access.
So everything’s I buy a course, I add the course web page as a bookmark and then cumulate all the bookmarks under one bookmark folders. You can also create sub folders under the main folders to make it more easy since obviously it’s much more difficult to manage things with ADHD. Another thing I will recommend is to synchronize your bookmarks across devices. If you use the same browser throughout all your devices, this will help you a lot to keep things in track and be able to access your resources whenever you feel like.
Name Courses in a Way Your ADHD Brain Will Recognize

Finally, after you have bookmarked all your courses and resources, the next step towards ADHD organization is to name your courses in a way that your ADHD brain can recognize and remember easily. Since I have ADHD myself, I know how difficult y is to memorise things. Now if I bookmark a new course that I got, I will add it under the “Learning” folder and then sub categorise it properly so that the minute I look at it, I can recognize the purpose of the course instead of having to waste time on opening the course and then figuring of what the course was.
Additionally, if you’re searching for a particular course, having to open multiple bookmarks to find that one particular course is something that will make an easy task even more difficult. With ADHD in particular, things that apart organised are much more easier to go on to than the things that require efforts to just gather materials. For example if I save a new course, instead of saving it add “module 1” or “course 1”, I can save it with such a name wherein the purpose of the clear is evident, like “ADHD Focus Course – Week 1 by Hema”.
Just as I say, staying organized with ADHD is not difficult, only that it requires a little more patience and effort in the first go to make things simpler in long term. ADHD Organization is the only way to make things simple, less chaotic and productive. So if you want to learn more about ADHD organization, you can also check my ADHD coaching session.
